Beautiful views and sweet friends

I knew it had been a while since I posted anything on this blog but didn't realize it has been almost 2 months! Hopefully those of you that actually read this blog received my update last week and know a little more of what is going on with me.
I have moved to an awesome flat pretty much next door to my teammates, Danielle and Craig and there sweet little boy Levi. Not only is it a really nice apartment but it actually has a beautiful view with lots of green...definitely not common here...

Last week some dear friends from my NC fellowship came for a visit. It was so awesome to see them and be encouraged by them. We also were able to spend a couple nights in a hotel with other families from Summit who are also serving here. What a sweet time of rest and fellowship. Thank you Summit and thank you Curt and Hilary for loving us so well! Come back soon!

Tomorrow cousins in my city will celebrate Eid. They will offer an animal sacrifice for their sins. Usually here this is a goat. They do not realize that the one true sacrifice is JC and he died that they may have life. Ask the Father to work in the hearts of cousins around the world.

The field behind my house has been hopping with goats, cows and buffalo as everyone is getting ready for Eid.

The Father is so faithful....

Many of you have been asking the Father to provide me with friends here. Over the last few months he has answered that pr@yer and provided some really sweet and encouraging friends. Polly is not a follower but has been an encourager as I get out on my scooter(Another answered pr@yer!) She likes to ask me what our "next target" is as we go to new places. Shelly is a follower of JC and has come over to just hang out and also help out with a ladies training. She is also just learning to drive a scooter so we try and encourage each other in that also... The Father is so good and faithful!

Every week or so Levi and I have a date while his mom and dad go out. We have a lot of fun together...who wouldn't love that little smile?!
