I am headed to South Asia in March for a short term trip and seeking the Lord's guidance as to whether this is where He would have me to serve full time. Here is some food for thought as you pray with me about God's direction...
Did you know South Asia has the greatest concentration of lostness on earth?
- 1.53 billion people live in South Asia
- 22 million Evangelical Christians
- 1.5 billion lost
The seven countries of South Asia contain more unengaged unreached people groups (UUPGs) than all other parts of the world combined. In fact, three-fourths of all the world’s UUPGs are in South Asia. People group researchers in recent years have documented about 345 UUPGs with a population of more than 100,000. Today that number stands at 177! A UUPG is classified as a people group with less than 2 percent Christian population and no evangelical work among them. This means that most of these people have never had any exposure to the Gospel and even now have no one working among them to bring them the Good News.
Please pray for the Lord to shatter the darkness that grips South Asia.

Beth, you never cease to amaze me. I pray for you constantly and I know God has already used you to sow many many seeds. You are an inspiration to young AND old everywhere you go. God's plan for you in Asia is going to be awesome I know. Stay as strong and determined as you are and God will continue to guide you where he needs you. love ya
