Tis the season!

One of my family traditions on Thanksgiving is to put up our Christmas tree Thanksgiving night or sometime that weekend. My mom, sister, and nieces got together on Thanksgiving this year and decorated my mom's tree. I was a little sad to not be there but decided to get out my Charlie Brown tree I brought with me and make my apartment feel a little more Christmasy. While I was putting my tree up I found out I had a package waiting at the post (post office). I was super pumped when I found it filled with wonderful Christmas goodies from my friend Becca and her house fellowship! They sent hot cocoa, pumpkin bread mix, ginger bread mix, a small nativity set (which I didn't have), peppermints, hot apple cider mix and a snickerdoodle cookie mix(my favorites!). It was the perfect timing and the Father's sweet way of showing His care for me during the holidays. Thank you ETBC for your thoughtfulness and generosity!

My sweet little tree with all the wonderful goodies from ETBC!

This shot is mostly for my mom since we always have a photo shoot by the Christmas tree. Thank goodness for the self timer!
Love you mom!

So about five or ten minutes after I took this picture I was getting ready to sit down and enjoy some hot apple cider, christmas music, and my sweet little Christmas tree....then the lights blew out! Yes finished, done, no more lights! Even with my plug adapter the current here was too much for them.
Gotta love South Asia!
Nonetheless I still have a tree and can find some lights here if I really want to, so no worries.

Merry Christmas
