Last week I was able to explore a little more of my city with two new friends. We walked to the top of a hill that overlooks the city and rode a speed boat on the lake. (I will have to say even though I am a strong swimmer and grew up going to the lake every weekend, I was not completely confident in the safety regulations here and was more than a little nervous on the boat....nonetheless it was a great time exploring and being with new friends!
Amy also came down this past weekend for a short visit. It was great encouragement to sit around and chat with her and to be able to show her around my city a little. So thankful for her partnership in the gospel and for the Father allowing me to have another single friend close by!
While Amy was here we went, with the Marlins, to a yummy restaurant with a view overlooking the city and the lake.
